I have a lot to be thankful for right now. I’m still happy about the democracy-saving midterm results. I’m thrilled by how much this newsletter has grown this year. I’m grateful for all of the family and friends who helped me celebrate my birthday last week. And, I’m pleased that we got through those celebrations without illness. The same, however, can’t be said for Thanksgiving.
Turkey day is postponed in this house as Flu has officially hit us (despite full vaccination). I’ve spent the last few days with a floppy seventh grader who said she’d rather write a five-page essay than feel like this. (The fact that I actually enjoy writing five-page essays did not sway her.)
So, my apologies, but no sex this Wednesday. Hopefully, the rest of us don’t fall like dominos and I’ll be back next week.
I wish all of you a happy and healthy Thanksgiving.
So hope you are feeling thankful very soon, due to no more flu laying your family low!
