I find it fascinating that you posted the bit about comprehensive, relationship-based sex ed because: just this morning, I expressed to my 50-something boyfriend (and parent of 3 over-18 children) that I would advocate for exactly this kind of sex education of children because the kind he and I received so wholly neglected to discuss anything regarding female pleasure, instead equating male sexuality with ejaculation (and pleasure) while females were regarded as needing to be more responsible as the reproductive half of the equation, while discussing literally nothing of the female ‘O’. As I explained to him, this male-weighted explanation of sex starts the argument that women are meant as exclusively reproductive creatures for whom there is no chance of pleasure, thus making us unimportant in the eyes of horny boys.

He backed down after realizing I was right.
